He traced his finger along her curves, only stopping to admire her strength and beauty. They fit together like tailored leather. Her opalescent skin, like pewter in the moonlight, gave the false impression of being as malleable as mercury, but a steely inner strength resonated from her core.
It was dangerous, yet the risk excited him.
He slipped inside and adrenaline filled him with a thrilling rush. He threw her into high gear and never looked back even though he knew they’d been found. He didn’t want it to end.

“It makes me sad to see a work of art like that wrapped around a tree.” The officer took notes as steam rose from the crumpled Jaguar.
“What about the carjacker?” asked the coroner.

This is my entry for K8edid’s Seven Deadly Sins Contest. Yep. You guessed it. This week’s sin is lust. What a great time to jump into the action!
Have you ever been seduced by a material item? Maybe it was a coveted lunch box.
I would love to hear from you!
Oooh! Great entry! Love it. Love K8tydid’s contests, too. Clever, she is.

Thanks Renee! She is a new friend so this is the first contest for me. I did see Darla’s sporty plaid jacket after she won it in the Peanut Butter Cup contest. I don’t even know what the prizes are in this contest. I hope it’s a Jaguar!

Susie Q! I just read this over on Katy’s blog earlier. I honestly think this is my favorite flash fiction yet. Nope. Don’t think. KNOW.

I did, but I waited until the 11th hour, LOL I kept starting different drafts over the past few weeks, and of course wound up going with the first one.
Yours was SO. GOOD. I read all of the entries today (that were up so far); Katy has got her work cut out for her!

Wow!! Thanks so much Jules! We are visiting family and have really sketchy internet, so I haven’t read any of them yet. I am sure yours is fantastical!

Wow. I think I need a cigarette, and a cold shower. Granted, that’s not the most workable combination in the world. So it’s probably a good thing that I don’t smoke or have a shower!
Just to clarify, I mean an actual shower, not the act of showering itself. Although from a technical point of view, I suppose both interpretations are accurate.

Once read a story about how a cigarette was molested. But you turned this one around right at the end. Loved it.

Great simile. The creation thereof hooks me to read more and I save them on 3×5 cards from all I read.
