Wow! What a Wild Ride. After traveling thousands of miles and taking thousands of photographs, I’m back. I met lots of fun people, saw some amazing sights, ate the most delectable foods and danced, of course.
I gave up on blogging after a few frustrating attempts and remained unplugged for most of the trip. I know! Hard to believe, right?
I just downloaded most of my 5000 pictures and froze up my computer. Sheesh! I am off to the store to buy more memory. Back to ye old grind.
The contest continues. Figure out where in the world I roamed and win a trinket stolen purchased from a wammer scammer respectable vendor in the park. Get your clues in the photographs below or stalk me on Facebook. The more specific you are, the better. If there are multiple winners, then I will draw a name.

Good Luck!
This place had eye candy everywhere! A feast for the eyes and soul and the obvious…
The winner will receive everything in the case above. Kidding! Wouldn’t that be most excellent? I miss that country already.
A souvenir trinket will be sent to the winner. Really!
The winners will be announced at the end of the entire contest.
Say a prayer for fellow blogger and wonderful writer Suzanne Vince who is having a bilateral mastectomy today. Her husband, who is in the military, will be taking over her blog for the next two weeks. Leave a note here.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
No idea, but it looks like a great place to visit. Looks like you had fun.

I’m guessing Cannes, where you were responsible for last week’s $53 million jewel heist.

My guess is the french must have something to do with the country as no one makes pastries like that.. No one..:)

I figure either Bologna or Emilia Romania in Italy. My favorite place, the Train Museum outside of Denver CO.

Cannes for #1 and Paris for #4 the others have to be southern Italy?

My guess: 104 Rue Grande, 06570 Saint-Paul-de-Vence, France @ CHOISY LA GALERIE. I am hoping that is specific enough.:)

Looks like St. Paul de Vence to me — possibly Eze, but I lean toward the former. One of my favorite areas.

Since I do my best to avoid leaving Manhattan island, my guess would be based on other commenters nailing where you guys went. I’ll just say you indulged yourselves in a picturesque place with fantastic desserts where I don’t speak the language, even though I studied it for five years and only learned two expressions: je ne sais quoi and merde.

Merde! Hahaha!

The gorgeous place photos could be so many beautiful places in Europe, but those desserts have got to be in France somewhere!

So glad to hear you had a great time, Susie. I wasn’t too interested in the geography just as long as you were in a happy place. Pics are great. Hope there will be more to come.

At a (complete) guess – southern France? Places that look particularly wonderful from wintery New Zealand anyhow. Glad you had a good time & hope your recovery’s going well.

The beauty in those photos is incredible! I’m not going to guess, I’m just going to sit here and imagine I’m there enjoying the scenery, while I enjoy one of those delicious pastries.
Glad you unplugged and engaged in your surroundings. Dancing on foreign soil gives you permission to use the term “International dancer” on your resume.
