A Virtual Blog Party to Use Me and Abuse Me – Marching into April Edition

It’s time once again to Use Me and Abuse Me! This is a virtual blog party where you can come and meet my friends. Bring a link from your blog, paste it in my comment section and then click on a few. Mingle with my friends by leaving comments.  Check out their place  Make sure to tell them, “Susie sent me,” and they should click back to yours. Maybe you’ll even pick up a few new subscribers.

If you’re going to leave a link, be sure to click on some while you’re here. You wouldn’t go to a party, take a few bottles of wine and go home. This party is all about the blogging community. We don’t have websites. We have blogs. It is a great place to make real friends. The more you click, the more friends you’ll make!

Only leave ONE LINK! Two will put you in my spam filter and that is always so embarrassing.

Use Me and Abuse March

This has been a long winter and it’s still snowing in the mountains. Who knows when spring will arrive?

In the meantime, make sure you take off your boots and dance!

I found this beautiful video through Twitter. Check it out.

Make sure to spread the word on Facebook and Twitter. The more the merrier. I have enough food and drinks for everyone!

  1. I’m a little late to the party, thanks to a day-long spring skiing engagement, but it looks like fun. It’s a wild wet stormy day here today in Maine, so I will enjoy the party today. Hope you enjoy this link about some recent adventures in New Mexico!

Now, off with my coffee to go mingle a bit.

PS I would especially love some feedback on my blog title. I just changed it as I was looking for something catchier than the original title of “Random History”.

  2. Thank you so much for sharing your story and the opportunity to introduce myself. I have never done this before and I am new to blogging altogether. I was a shy child and kept my personality mostly under wraps but as the years passed that has fallen away. Now that I am 40, I don’t really care much if people know about my crazy sense of humor. Well there’s that and the fact that none of my children are allowed to read my posts….

Thank you for the invitation. I will stop dancing on the barstool now. 🙂

      1. Thank you Marcia and I stopped by to see your site. Love it! Raising one gentleman and two young women that will be a force to be reckoned with… If they don’t kill me first! Lol

  3. Yay! Pardon me for repeating myself, Susie, but you have the best parties! I brought chocolate fish for everyone in celebration of April Fish Day in France … huh? Oui, that’s how they celebrate April 1st! I think we need to start a movement for an April Fool’s day symbol in North America so we can have an excuse for special chocolates too. What do you say? I wrote about it here http://patriciasands.wordpress.com/2014/03/28/april-foolspoisson-davril-and-the-winner-of-my-wish-list/
Now I’m off to mingle and start reading some of the great blogs that can always be found here. Thanks!

  4. I don’t really have much to offer as I don’t update either of my blogs anymore, but while I’m here I’ll leave a quick link to one of my old short stories, since I never publicized them much:

I’ll have a look around and try not to puke on anyone’s furnishings. However, I fully accept that if you click the link above you might not be able to promise the same!

  5. Ah!!! I hate to miss a party! Until my daughter makes her college decision (hopefully soon), I will be visiting colleges again with her, giving me NO time to party. I plan on partying BIG once this process is over!!

    1. Thanks for stopping by Maria! Fill a plate of appetizers and desserts for the road trip. Have fun on your college visits! One of my friends told me that looking back, she should have rented a helicopter for a day. Her kids just needed 10 minutes in each place to know whether they could see themselves going to school there!

  6. Susie! Sorry to be so late to the party. Been busy, busy lately. But I love making connections here, so I’m going to hop on over to check out the links here. I thought I’d share a fairly recent post where I wrote about a hypnotherapy session. I’ve been working on my emotional eating issue, ferretting out clues as to what’s driving my impulses, by using hypnotherapy. It’s a way to make a ton of progress in an hour session. http://mariner2mother.wordpress.com/2014/02/27/uncovering-a-mystery/
