Gobbling Up the Holidays Blog Hop – Use Me and Abuse Me!

fancy bird 2

Start flapping your wings! It’s time to Use Me and Abuse Me, so fly to the Wild Ride and meet my friends. Come with ONE blog post and paste it in my comment section. Leave a one line teaser and then mingle or chirp away with the guests. Click on a few links and say “Howdy do!”

Tell them, “Susie sent me,” and they should click back to your nest. (Do turkeys have nests?)

Follow a few and they may follow your blog!

  • Bring one of your own posts. If you leave a friend’s, they may not come to party with us. It’s no fun to knock on a door and wait…and wait…and wait…It ruins the atmosphere.
  • Do not leave your link and fly off without clicking on a few. This is a major party foul.
  • Leave ONE link. Two will send you into my spam filter and that is always so embarrassing for both of us.

Have a blast meeting my friends. I am truly grateful for each one of them. They are the best in the blogosphere!

I roasted a turkey with all the sides and there’s a tofurkey for my vegetarian friends. This is the kick off to the holidays so grab a glass of cheer!

Don’t forget to DANCE!

I found a great new video to kick off the party. Meet my new feathered friends!

Spread the word and invite your friends. The more, the merrier!

    • Loved your post about staying present centered. I would think most of us struggle with that!

  1. Haven’t been to one of your great parties in quite a while. I think it is time to kick up my heels and get my boo-ga-loo on!
The following post tells you why I am so happy. However; it is dated. I have added another book to my collection.
Thank you one more time for inviting me to the party. I bought a bottle of fine wine to bring with me but – – – alas – – – thirst overtook my better judgment. Maybe next time I will have better control.

  2. In fine feather here today!
Hear the turkeys flying….of course turkeys have 2 legs. Didn’t you fight over the drumsticks as a kid? I don’t think they allow those on planes anymore – drumsticks..So does that eliminate the turkeys from flying? Hmmmm (I did take a frozen turkey in a carry on bag once….but this post isn’t about that. Sorry…rambling…blame the flying turkey )

  3. I have, since childhood, been a huge fan of Bill Cosby. Went to see him live for the first time this past weekend, just as all these allegations about him started swirling around the news. I had to write about it of course. Here are my thoughts: http://oh-brother-here-we-go-again.com/2014/11/18/hello-friend-bill-cosby-grandmas-pirated-tape-shoeless-joe-jackson/

I look forward to finding new blog friends to follow and great posts to read!!!

    • Cosby is my favorite! I don’t want to believe he did any of those things. It’s sad how they cancelled all of his appearances. Tried and hung already?
Thanks so much for bringing this to the party! Tell them, “Susie sent me,” and they should click back to your “nest.” 🙂

I remember this funny post. I can so relate. As I am typing, I realize I’m not wearing glasses. I hope I don’t have any typos!!!

I’ve been in the throes of birthday week and finishing NaNoWriMo. I should be done tomorrow or Sunday. Then I can really catch up with everyone!

  4. This must be da place….., da wild hop with music by the Funky Turkeys. Hi Susie ! Where is everybody? Thought you’d have a gazillion visitors by now. Guess the snow scared ‘em all off. Wimps !!! Brought a bottle o’ wine but it’s mostly slush now. These 11deg temps are nasty. Had to drink half of it just to have some anti-freeze in me blood now. Here’s my doing for the day. It’s an old one, but appropriate for what we’re getting for weather.
