One Life, Lots of Love

I am all about spreading the love…

…like this art project on my ceiling. I painted the angels to set a welcoming tone in my house even though you would have to strain to hear their horns.

Lots of love up there, don’t you think?

I love old family photos:

I love joking around and never take myself too seriously:

I could be a fly on your wall…

I love writing and sometimes become obsessed. Okay. Many times:

I love to travel and make new friends…

I love the outdoors, of course:

And time spent with family:

And Roxy-doodle!

And birthdays!

Happy Birthday, Mom!

It’s ONE big LOVEfest. It’s all about your attitude and looking at life in a positive way. This list could go on for days, but I plan to finish a writing project, go outdoors, meet up with family and then dance!

What do you love?

  1. Your profound heart warming comments are a welcome sight on my site, but you know β€” the thing that would really brighten the doldrums, and draw more traffic to my little place on the Web?
That beautiful smiling adventurist girl in the snazzy WHITE HAT!

    1. I’ve painted using scaffolding, but this one was a huge board leaned up against the wall. The right-side up angel was at my ankles! Ha! It didn’t take that long, thank God.
      Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Great picture of Roxy, Susie. Did you cut a deal with her: “The faster you strike a cute pose, the faster I’ll take you out on a walk?” Bet she loved that.

As for me, I love antacid.

    1. She strikes poses whenever I have a camera in my hand. I swear she’s Marilyn Monroe reincarnated without the drug addiction.
I never went anywhere without antacid until I started drinking selzer. πŸ™‚

  3. Love the way you rambling through the weavings of life hanging tightly to the most important thread. All you need for sure!
(And if you are still doing ceilings and advanced arts and crafts while writing and blogging, I’m positive you are either triplets or a squad of robots HA HA)

  4. Wow, Susie, great post! So creative, the fly on the wall! Haha! I love the angels you painted on your ceiling. How in the world did you pull that off? I, too, love old family photos. I love fun blog posts! Way to go!

    1. Hey Lynn! Thanks so much.
I’ve painted ceilings, but that one was on a huge board. The right-side up angels were at my shins! It was an interesting project, for sure!
I’ve seen your cool projects with photographs. You have all kinds of great ideas!
      Happy Manic Monday!
