The Ultimate Link Up Party – Drop and Hop at the Wild Ride

The Ultimate Link Up Party! Drop and Hop on the Wild Ride! It’s time for another drop and hop, link up party here at the Wild Ride! My parties always turn into ragers and last the whole weekend. The bar is open, the barista is making cappuccinos and the buffet has every delectable treat you can imagine. Really! DJ KSmash is already spinning.

So leave a link to your blog in the comments and party down with my friends. Mingle with other wild riders and click to their blogs. Tell them, “Susie sent me,” and they might click to yours.

But what’s the best way to entice others to check out your blog? Good question.

Leave a short hook to tell us what your blog is about. You’re a space cowboy? Then how about this:

Cowboy In Space chronicles my journey from the Milky Way to the Outer Limits with my sidekick robot, Leon.  http//cowboyinspace.com

I would love to read that blog. That’s what I call an adventure.

Or in my case:

Susie Lindau’s Wild Ride – I’m a wild rider who likes to overshare her Colorado adventures no matter how wild life gets. Come for the ride. Stay for adventure. Yeehaaaa! https://susielindau.wordpress.com

So come on in, kick back and meet my friends. Leave a link and click on a few. Have fun and don’t forget to DANCE! I hope you’ll consider following my blog. It’s always a Wild Ride!

Follow me on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Click for more or my wild adventures.

Share this post with your friends on Facebook and Twitter. The more the merrier!

  1. You area a major *trip*, Susie Lindau! But you got me rockin’ and groovin’ to your beat! Excuse, gotta bust-a-move….

Okay, here are my two sites. The first one is called “Runnin off at the Mouth”:

    https://fpdorchak.wordpress.com/

My dad used to call me “Motor Mouth” and said I used to talk just to hear my head rattle. So I’ve channeled that energy into posts about writing, short stories, and other more mainstream ideas—

Excuse just got asked to dance—be right back….

That was fun, if not a little sweaty! My other site is called “Reality Check”:

    https://fpdorchakrealitycheck.wordpress.com/

Here I post about all the weird stuff that happens to me! You know…like “Silver Man”? :-] I’ll post other people’s weird stuff if they’re interested. I peek behind the curtain of life on this site.

Another tune I just GOTTA dance to! Be right back!

Okay, Susie, thank you so much for doing this! I might have to host a similar party on my site! You really know how to throw a party!

    Gotta go hydrate….

    1. Hey Dorchak! Glad you could make it! Man, this party is raging. Glad to see you rockin’ it on the dance floor. Not sure I’ve ever seen that last dance you did. What do you call it?

Love your blogs and I’m glad you pointed out the two of them. I didn’t realize until recently you had the other. I’m sure others will enjoy your creepy Silver Man story too, although “enjoy” might not be the right word. HA!! Stay hydrated, my friend.

      1. That last thing I did? It’s so new I just call it “The Move.” Yeah…you know why! ;-]

But, thanks, Susie–and as you know I’m also a fan of yours! Your life IS quite the wild ride!

Okay, gotta hydrate (thanks for the remindo…sometimes I get cared away…) and practice my new other move, called…”My New Other Move.” #CamelBak

  2. Hey Susie, you look great and the party is swingin’. It’s obvious all your friends here first class. The food is scrumptious, but watch out, some guy named George is double dipping in the hummus. Now where is that gal with the bubbly…..? Oh well, anyway, my blog is at http://thecvillean.wordpress.com. You will see a potpourri of subjects, none of which I have any depth of knowledge, but you wouldn’t know by the way I carry on about it.

Thanks again for the invite, oh there she is now…..oh Miss….Miss….

  3. Hi Susie!

Creative, passionate, and adventurous people (like you!) inspire me. Funny thing is, everyone I meet has an incredible “something” he or she contributes to the world. My mission is to find and celebrate this amazing “something” in people and ideas. I hope every reader feels inspired to discover and develop his or her own awesomeness and see more of it in others as well.

I’m late to this particular party. . . had a date with my son all weekend. . . but I’m hoping there’s some chip and dip to spare.

I’m always looking for guest posts for a category I call “Love Letters.” Maybe someone in this party wants to write one?

  4. Hello Susie! I made it. Are you still partying?

Seems rather funny to be introducing my very own author blog but it’s the honest, hard-working truth. Recently, I posted three chapters from “Into the Vines” and my September Newsletter. Included is my first You Tube video! At the time I didn’t know it would become that. Take a peek.

I’ll pop back later today to visit other guests n their blogs.

    Thanks!
    Always dancing,

  5. Tardy to the party, as usual. Well, better late than never! I’m an author who blogs a couple of times a month about writing, literature, art, culture, life, and death (not necessarily in that order). I’m a little bit Zen and a whole lot angsty. Here’s my most recent post, which may appeal to anyone who has ever had to write an essay for school:

    https://audreykalman.com/2016/09/02/1-2-3-4-5-how-to-write-an-essay/

Now, time to get a cup of tea and start hoping!

  6. Found you over at Dream Big. I blog about living in Britain–the spidery corners of the culture and the stuff tourist brochures ignore. Having said that, this particular post is about fun and games with search engines.

  7. My name is Dawn and write about whatever tickles my interest, on any given day… lately, that means being stuck. Stuck! But usually I blog at Tales From the Motherland and as Featured blogger (made their Must Read Bloggers List) for Huffington Post. Oh the pressure! Hence: STUCK! Thanks Susie for graciously sharing your space. Your space is always a good place to be!

    1. Hey Dawn! Great to “see” you! Congrats on HuffPost. I can see where you would become blocked and the pressure of topping views. I’ve been blogging for five years too and have seen a lot of changes, but I’m still here! My problem is juggling writing books with blogging. No pressure here on the Wild Ride. 🙂
There are lots of new faces in the crowd and links to check out! Click on a couple and tell them, “Susie sent me,” and they should click back to your place! Have fun and don’t forget to dance!

  8. Hi Susie, you sent me! I was on a blogging break but I felt compelled to pop back to celebrate my blog’s birthday (she’s left her terrible twos and is an adorable 3 year old now), so here’s a new post, hot off the WordPress and just in time for one of your wild parties!!! https://yadadarcyyada.com/2016/09/16/best-words-blog-birthday/
As for my blog, my name is Donna, my blog is about life, the universe and everything (that is sometimes literal) with a lot and I mean a lot of humour. Drop by, stay a spell, you might never want to leave. 😉
Thanks again for the delightful party and hope the week ahead treats everyone kindly. 🙂

  9. Found this at A Momma’s View https://amommasview.wordpress.com/

I took a break over the summer and thought it would be nice to hook up with real writer’s, not like me, I am a hack I simply write to get the insanity out of my head, and hopefully one I will find the equator of Bipolar. Warning I cuss like a sailor, and have horrible grammar skills, I forget whole phrases and sometimes the hamsters and squirrels get in the way. But mostly I just write for me, and hopefully someone relates or thinks I am decent enough to share. Happy reading.

  10. Many thanks to a world class blogger, Susie! My blog, https://kevinbrent.net/ is my take on various geopolitical and military related events around the world. I sift out the news media narratives, and kook conspiracy theories and communicate to the reader what an event or development is really all about. It’s often much more simple than we think. I base my analysis on my own 25 years experience in defense/intelligence, and my knowledge of the history of the region or nation in which the event is taking place. History, is always an influence. And, movers, shakers, and power players on the world stage put their pants on one leg at a time just like you do. 😉

  11. I loved my job in retail so much that when I had to take a sabbatical to be with my little ones I decided to write about it. From stories of customer encounters, to leadership tips the blog has a little bit for everyone. http://www.shopgirlanonymous.com

My second blog is my fun blog. No strict guidelines, just a place for me to write about my family, my meanderings, and my pseudo-photography. Check it out: https://stepparentsanctuary.wordpress.com/
