It’s blog party time!
I have traveled for nearly the entire month of June and have been off the grid. My last post left off in Scotland. I’ve got another teed up, but before I launch into telling you about my wild adventure abroad, I want to know what happened in your part of the world.
ONE link please or it will be sent to spam filter hell.
CHOOSE ONE Of YOUR STORIES, a poem, whatever you like, and post the link in the comments. If you leave two links, you’ll be thrown into the spam filter. That can be so embarrassing for both of us. The worst part? I usually don’t notice right away.
Meet my friends!
CLICK ON A FEW LINKS to meet other bloggers. Find out what they’ve been up to this summer.
The floors are finished. Yahoo! I’m still unpacking after a day of workers who filled my house; painters, movers, (who moved furniture and unpacked countless boxes), carpenters, and a contractor, who defied all odds and got the job done on time. I crashed out at 8:30 last night.
But I feel great today!
Make yourself at home. Everything is polished and ready for the blog party. The waxed floors will soon be filled with dancers. Table and chairs are at the ready for chatting and meeting others. If you’d like to take a stroll, by all means enjoy the gardens.
I am so glad you stopped by to chat!
Spread the word. The more the merrier. Tweet it, Facebook it, or Pin it. Others may stop by and find your blog. Some may subscribe!
I hope you consider subscribing to my blog. It’s always a Wild Ride!
Have fun and don’t forget to DANCE!
I always enjoy riding with you, wild or not. As residents of the West, we are all watching of the beautiful country burn. Out your way, the Breckenridge Peaks are on fire. Here in the Catalina Foothills, we are watching the Burro Fire in the Santa Catalina Mountains burning 27,000 acres in the eastern Catalinas. On the day the fire started I happen to be hiking through areas burned by the Aspen Fire in 2003. When you spend time in mountains Forest Fires make one feel like you are losing a part of yourself. Going to Switzerland this year has made me so desperate to travel some more. Question is who with and where. The opening of the tent in the morning and feeling the heat, to beautiful views of mountains, hills and purple and yellow flowers in Switzerland, it was just magical. Zip lining from the mountains and go carting down was a treat. So many fantastic views would highly recommend going!

It was hard to choose one to share, but I think this one has a New Zealand flavour whilst still being easily understandable by international audiences…

I mostly write to get a handle on my ever evolving world view. I write about writing and what it means to me, I write about the human lived experience as it seems to be. This is one of my more precious posts, one of the first ones that started the journey of keeping a blog as a personal/public journal.

I’m a longtime screenwriter. I do a lot of traveling inside my head. My kids grew up and left home, so I created a blog where I travel “Over the hill on the Yellow Brick Road” to figure out where I belong in the world. Please join me on my spiritual and funny journey.
