2017 Christmas Card Reveal and Winners!

My handmade Christmas cards are finished and in the mail, so it’s time for the big reveal! There’s a point every year when I look at my sketches and think, This is the dumbest idea ever! Then I shrug my shoulders and finish them. What else could I possibly do? Buy cards? Send photo cards? Skip the tradition altogether?

Nope.

2017 Christmas Cards

This is always the scary part. Here it is! *gulp*

And the inside –

2017 Christmas Card Message

Because we all need to break out of our snow globes to enjoy the magic of Christmas, right?

There was only one person who guessed correctly – Linda Seccaspina with SKIING!

The other two were picked out of a hat.

Daya and Unbound Roots won!!!

THEN I PICKED ANOTHER ONE!

Emma from the Emma Edit!

Send your addresses to my email at susielindau @ gmail.com and I’ll send you a card.

Be sure to check out the winners’ blogs!

Now, I’ll don my straw hat for a well-deserved nap and hope only sugar plums dance in my head. Peace and joy to all and to all a good night!

Are you ready for the holidays?

    1. Thanks so much, Phil! I just have to make them. It’s like writing or breathing. Ha!

It snowed 5 inches in Breck last night and more is on the way, although sand dune-boarding looks like FUN!

      Have a fabulous holiday!

  1. Beautiful cards, Susie! Your talent always amazes me. Sorry I guessed wrong, but when I find the long-sought source of the Coosawhatchie River myself and become famous, you’ll be sorry. And again, Merry Christmas.

      1. Thanks so much! I hope you had the happiest of Christmases. You should play the lottery!

I can’t believe it’s the 29th! I’ve had a wild holiday hosting the family!!! They’re still sleeping, so I snuck onto my computer. Ha! Yesterday was my daughter’s birthday.

Congrats on winning! I’m sending it out today. It’s a New Year’s card now. Ha!

    1. Thanks so much, Susan! I should make them in July so I can really enjoy my holidays, oh, and write a check instead of buying presents for my kids. Two things that will never happen. Ha!

I hope you did too. My family is still sleeping here in the mountains so I’m finally catching up. Sheesh!

I am finally catching up after hosting everyone for a Wild Christmas and my daughter’s birthday yesterday. Whew! It’s going to seem too quiet on Jan. 2nd!

Happiest of New Years to you!!!
