The Wild Side Podcast has Launched!

Bloggers Bash Attendees

This is it, Wild riders – Exciting news. The Wild Side with Susie Lindau podcast has launched with the first episode, The Bloggers Bash in London. Listen and you could win a gift card!

In each episode, my guests tell us their definition of Wild and include stories about their Wild Side.

The first episode takes place at the Bloggers Bash in London. You’ll hear stories from risky business, travel, and life-changing adventures to death-defying feats. These amazing bloggers show how facing fear and challenges have made them stronger and more confident. Each of their stories inspired me. I hope they inspire you too!

To celebrate my new project, I’m giving away three $10 Amazon gift cards. To enter, subscribe, rate, and review my first episode on your favorite podcast app. Then, share it with your friends and family! If your name doesn’t show up in your review, let me know at the bottom of this post in the comments.

The Wild Side Podcast can be found on Soundcloud, (below), Stitcher, Google Play Podcasts, and Apple Podcasts.

A new episode will air once a month.

Other interviews include a 101-year-old man, a drug and alcohol counselor with dating advice, an FBI profiler, a health and sexuality writer, an ex-Mennonite turned website designer and artist, and I plan to interview a hypnotist in April.

We’ve all taken a risk by leaving our cozy existence to plunge into a new icy cold adventure. Join me once a month to hear inspiring stories from across the globe. I hope it challenges you to embrace your wild side!

  1. Is there nothing you can’t do! By the way, that’s not a question, just my way of stamping another exclamation mark onto your amazing accomplishments. Susie, you are AWESOME! Congrats on your new podcast. ‘O)

  2. Very nice Susie. I didn’t listen to the entire thing (it’s Friday and I have lots to do today for guests coming and going, etc.) but I think you’re on to something. I’m going to save this post. If I get some time later I’ll pop back in and finish listening.

  3. Hi Susie. I think this is a great addition. Unfortunately, being hearing impaired, I was not able to follow the interviews. Just wondering if maybe there is a closed caption selection in your program that could be activated. With as many followers as you have, I wouldn’t be surprised if there are a lot of others like me. In any case, good job on this and of course I will still be enjoying your written blog!

      1. I wasn’t suggesting you take on any extra effort to provide this. Just wondered if whatever software you use for the podcast had a CC option built in. Certainly wouldn’t want you to incur any cost for this. I’m not familiar with transcribing services either. I did do a little research and it looks like soundcloud does not have a CC option at this time. Thanks for thinking of me (us), that is so much like you. Have a great day! Your pal, Al

    1. Thanks so much, Brock! The tea is up front with a selection of sweets from cookies to molten lava cake, bread pudding, and tiramisu. LOL! It’s been an inspiring adventure with loads more to come. Roxy is playing at the kennel while we’re skiing in Park City!

  5. Hi Susie, thank you for publishing this podcast. It bought back many wonderful memories as well as a few things I had no idea people had done. It’s been put together brilliantly and had me smiling the whole way through. What great fun it was listening to it.
I look forward to your future podcasts.

    1. Thanks so much, Ritu! It took a while, but sometimes these new adventures, with all their pieces and parts, are like herding cats. They’re all lined up and behaving now! Thanks for the interview!

    1. Hey Lynn! Thanks so much. They’re really simple from your phone or lap or desktop. If you have a Droid, you can listen through Google Play. With Apple, you find the podcast icon and can search for me there. They can be addictive. LOL!

  7. I really enjoyed listening to this Susie. One, to hear actual voices of lovely people (including you!) I only know through their written word was very special. And two, to hear them talk about all the wild and crazy things they have done! Sasha climbed to Mount Everest basecamp, who would have thought!?! Looking forward to more from your podcast!

  8. Oh my this has been wonderful. Thank you for including me … though the dubious photo is definitely an intrloper disguised badly as myself 😁😂 I of course am far more glamorous than portrayed. 😂😇 The best (pardon the pun) part was having met and identifying the speakers. it was like meeting up with treasured friends. Thank you for making me another first. First time on a live podcast.
