I took this photo while on my favorite ride to Coot Lake near the Boulder Reservoir and didn’t notice the sign. LOL! Although I’ve ridden to the lake and the Boulder Res countless times, I hadn’t taken this trail. No wonder I got so many hairy eyeballs from people walking. Oopsy. Next time I’ll admire it from the actual bike trail.
If you missed yesterday’s post, it’s all about going outside or hitting the gym while getting fit for summer. These new tips will help you motivate. I bet you haven’t tried some of them.

Oooopsy! Could be worse Susie, and you got that ride too! 😬😎

I did! It was my first time around the small lake. I usually pass it by and ride around the res or take another trail. I never noticed!
Thanks, John!

I don’t get it. I understand why you don’t want a horse on the path. They leave presents. But a bicycle? Maybe they’ve had walkers get bumped … but what a perfect place for a bike ride!

I know and the path is pretty big! There are lots of other places to bike hike so I’ll respect it next time. 🙂

Even if you are not bumped, it’s uncomfortable to be walking when bikes are frequently coming up from behind at a much higher speed.

Yes, it would be unnerving!

I totally get that! I hike a lot and it’s unnerving when a bike comes from behind. This path was pretty wide and flat, but I felt bad that I hadn’t seen the sign. Oopsy! I’m sure a few people took my name in vain. LOL!

Nice!
Danny gave me a gift certificate for a new one. Once the snow melts, (yep, it snowed again) I’ll have to test ride a few!
Thanks, Brock!

Beautiful photo. You live in a lovely part of the country. Although some people certainly are touchy about certain things!

Thanks, Ally!
Yeah, and don’t get them started about prairie dogs. LOL! My favorite rodent back in the zoo in Madison is ruining property all over Boulder. 🙂
Have a fantastic Thursday, my friend!

I love both because I cannot photograph while on a bike, so sometimes it is nice to hit the trail with camera in hand. I am getting excited to head to Alaska in the Fall and need to probably start upping my walking stamina. Happy Biking Wild Rider!!!

I stopped to take the photo otherwise it would have been blurry and I would have crashed and burned. LOL! Alaska is on my bucket list! I can’t wait to hear all about it, even though I’ll have to… 🙂 Have a splendid Thursday, Renee!

No share the road there. Oh, well, there’s a place for everything and everything in its’ place, right? (Glad you go through without a ticket to a scolding – looks pretty!)

It really is, Phil! I’m so glad I took a picture or I would have lapped the lake again next time. LOL!

Susie, as penance for this egregious transgression you must ride around the reservoir for the next week on a unicycle! Pictures required.

LOL! I owned a unicycle for a while, but never learned how to ride it. The wheel always slipped out from underneath me. 🙂

I’m still getting back into shape after having cancer. My energy level is still pretty low and I have no strength. I can barely even open jars or salad dressing bottles sometimes. It’s getting better but man oh man, climbing stairs a few dozen times every day to do laundry about does me in.
I’m glad to see you’re out and enjoying life as usual. You’re my hero.

Hey Patricia! Are you on Anastrozole? That wiped me out. The exhaustion is real. Stairs in the house counts! Take care of yourself!!! (((hugs)))

That is cruel and sadistic, prohibiting riding on that inviting stretch. Why, oh why? Don’t they trust cyclists not to mow down walkers?

I know! It seemed pretty wide to me.

Ha that’s funny 🙂 that’s happened to me before and I had no idea why people would give me the stink eye until I saw the sign I originally missed 🙂 but now you can enjoy it walking or running. Have a good weekend:)
