Skiing at Breckenridge Ski Resort on a bluebird day. It finally snowed. Click for photos and a video!
Heading to Union Reservoir in Longmont, Colorado to paddleboard became a misadventure in oh, my God, scariness. Even when taking precautions, life happens!
LOL! Okay, so I don't normally start a blog post with LOL. But this deserves a big LOL. Of course, when anything embarrassing happens to me, or at least would embarrass a normal person, I have to share. Personally, I have very little shame. It all started with a bike ride. Wisconsin artists do know something about snow. Their entry,... Continue Reading →

My favorite is the big bobcat that has hung out since last summer. I've kept the doggie door closed since my poofy Bichon, Roxy is... Continue Reading →
My dog, Roxy, joins me in all kinds of adventures. When I went paddle boarding for the first time, I noticed several dog paddlers of the canine kind. Big dogs and little dogs. Most seemed to be having a great time. Here's a dog who couldn't get enough paddle boarding and dog paddling. I wondered... Continue Reading →
I haven't camped for a long time, so when the opportunity arose and my husband and I had a free weekend, we pulled out the camping gear, shook off the spider webs and headed for Turquoise Lake near Leadville, Colorado. This shot was taken when we camped on a regular basis, back when my kids... Continue Reading →
