Welcome Wild Riders!

Being a Wild Rider has always come naturally. Just ask my mom. Sometimes I take on challenges to see if I can reach a goal and other times because I am impulsive. Optimism overrides any doubt and sometimes common sense, providing the perfect environment for some pretty funny stories.

Don’t worry. I laugh at myself too. I have an ridiculous sense of humor and have a tendency to go for it whether I’m heli-skiing in Canada or finding my badass self after knee surgery. 

I’ve also been known to take an icy plunge with polar bears and pick up random strangers to ski.

I share stories about past adventures like how I hitchhiked a ride from Chicago…on a plane. Years later I realize, no one can take the crazy out of the girl.

I also like to spew my thoughts. My kindergarten teacher once said, “Susie has a lot to share.” Over-sharing is in my nature. You see, I have no shame.

Occasionally, I’ll share a blogging or social media tip.

I am a breast cancer survivor and wrote humorous Boob Reports to chronicle my ridiculous journey to being cancer-free after double boobectomies. I need to write a couple more. I’m considering nipple tattoos for my bionic boobs.

My latest projects include a debut paranormal suspense three-book series (that’s a mouthful), based on my own ghostly experiences. Yes. What happened at the Stanley Hotel is all true. I also wrote a couple of screenplays. I’m  currently writing a paranormal comedy. I plan to publish my Boob Reports too.  I was a medical illustrator, so you may see some of my drawings from time to time.

My blog parties are back and they are new and Improved. Stay tuned for the next DROP and HOP to pick up a few new subscribers. Don’t forget your dancing shoes.
